Technique Tuesday here, and we are thrilled to be joining Operation Write Home for their Finishing Strong Blog Hop.
We've enjoyed taking part over the years in Operation Write Home's blog hops to show support for the organization, which provides handmade cards for troops to send home to their loved ones.
Operation Write Home recently announced their final campaign, Finishing Strong. With less need for cards because troop deployment numbers are down, they'll be closing after August 1st. If you've been making cards and meaning to send them in, be sure to get them to Operation Write Home by that date so they can send them off to the troops!
So with that, we've got one card to share with you today.
(My Hero card by TechniqueTuesday.com. Technique Tuesday supplies used: My Hero stamp set; Lots of Dots stamp set; Story Card steel dies; and Nested Stars steel dies.)
And, as a thank you, we've got a giveaway too!
One lucky commenter will receive a package with all of these Technique Tuesday products:
Just leave a comment on this post by midnight on Monday, May 25th. The lucky winner will be announced on May 27th on this blog.
Thank you, Operation Write Home! And thank you to all of you!
PS. We've got a special offer too! Join Technique Tuesday's Greenhouse Society, Memory Keepers Studio or Fresh Cut Studio auto-ship programs by the end of May and we'll include a World to You stamp for free with your first auto-shipment.
I love how you did the title in the two colors, I always love this look and should use it myself more often. I also love the use of the stacking dies! I liked them for separate stars but they look awesome like that. TFS

I have 3 in the Army who may be deployed in the near future and hoped that maybe someday they might receive a greeting from their homeland. The hero cards are quite striking! They will light up someone's eyes and brighten their day.Blessings for such a generous prize. :)

Love the contrast on this card. OWH is one of my favorite organizations, because we aren't just sending money but a little bit of ourselves to heroes willing to give all of themselves for us. Thank you for being a part of that too.

I love your card! My dad served in the Army just before Vietnam, and all three of his brothers served, too. Dad's uncle, Joe, was stationed at Hickam Field in Hawaii when Pearl Harbor was attacked. When I was in college, I selected him as a topic of study and I interviewed him about that time period. So glad I got the chance as he died shortly after.
