Truth: I love watching sports, but I always struggle with making cards for the athletes and sports fans in my life.
Next time I need to make one, I am going to borrow some inspiration from Samantha Kangas. She created an amazing birthday card that could easily be given to either a soccer player or the local soccer team's biggest fan.
I love how she used the soccer ball from Technique Tuesday's Soccer set. She stamped it three times on cardstock and fussy cut the images out. She then layered the soccer balls between two handcut rows of cardstock grass. So clever!
I also like the custom sentiment Samantha created by mixing together stamps from the Happy Birthday and Go Team sets. I could see using that phrase on not just a soccer-themed card but baseball, football and basketball ones, too!
